In the spot, debuting under the League’s “Baseball is Something Else” brand banner, De La Cruz comes to life after lightning strikes a video game and pushes all the skill settings to max, generating the All-Star Reds shortstop as the total package. The long form feature has him displaying his unparalleled abilities on the field and at the plate, showcasing his power, strength, and speed. Widely considered one of MLB’s exciting young stars, De La Cruz voiced the spot, and this week was revealed as one of three cover athletes for MLB The Show 2025.
